Minus AI
What We Are Fighting For:
1
Human-Centered Policy
We advocate for legislation that protects workers, communities, and democratic processes from unchecked AI deployment.
2
Community-Led Tech Accountability
We support grassroots efforts to audit, resist, and reshape technologies that harm marginalized communities.
3
Liberation Through Storytelling
We amplify narratives that center humanity, dignity, and the wisdom of those most impacted.
Why ‘Minus AI’?
In a world increasingly shaped by algorithms and automation, the “Minus AI” campaign is a call to pause, reflect, and resist. We believe justice cannot be outsourced. Equity cannot be coded. And liberation must be led by people—not machines.
This campaign uplifts frontline voices, challenges techno-solutionism, and builds power through storytelling, organizing, and policy rooted in lived experience.
Take the ‘Minus AI’ Challenge!
Our objective is to generate momentum and transform the mindset of approximately twelve (12) million individuals across the nation, while simultaneously engaging major corporations within the AI industry. This initiative aims to encourage these companies to adopt policies that enable users to "Opt In" to AI utilization, rather than defaulting to an opt-out approach.
PJC's Minus AI Brain is an online, smart-phone-friendly visual, searchable source of information on all things AI and data centers.
