We are a faith-based group of public theologians from various
faith traditions who operate at the intersectionality of justice
through interdisciplinary methods. "We believe in an ambitious vision of having a JUST and EQUITABLE world, and we will fight to see this vision actualized."
The PJC Arm in Arm campaigns focus on advocacy and community engagement through grassroots education and community building activities. In collaboration with our partners, we advocate for environmental and utility justice and decision maker accountability through emphasizing racial, economic and systemic equity.
Our Work
Our platforms serve as the community-facing element of PJC’s efforts, amplifying the voices of affected communities on local, regional, and international stages. At PJC, we believe it is our responsibility to give a voice to those who have been systematically excluded from crucial discussions, the outcomes of which directly impact residents in these areas and, ultimately, the entire country.
The educational branch of PJC, our programs are designed to build awareness regarding environmental issues, problem solving and the sharing of community resources. We believe teaching our neighbors about how to advocate for themselves so they in turn can go out and help uplift others.
